No. They scan the QR with the phone camera and the tip page opens in the browser — in English, Thai, Russian or Chinese.

Where does the money go?

Straight to your staff member’s PromptPay, or to a shared team pool if you choose. TipWai never holds the money.

Which banks work?

Any Thai banking app that can pay a PromptPay QR code.

How much does it cost?

Nothing during the pilot. Early restaurants get special conditions after it. No hidden fees.

Can the kitchen get tips too?
